On October 12, 2021, Sandriver brought a splash of warm colors to Galeries Lafayette in Pudong, Shanghai, for a three-month limited-time journey under the theme of "Known-Unknown".

In this space, Sandriver's representative cashmere felting technique is expressed in two forms: a cashmere blanket and a giant cashmere art-craft, both of which are handmade by several craftsmen in the workshop in a month's time, thoroughly restoring the technique of nomadic tribal felting, and creating it in the form of artistic painting, with soft colors and the uniqueness of cashmere's loose wool fibers, penetrating each other and then embracing the shape.

Combining unique Chinese craftsmanship and highly innovative products with the concept of sustainable fashion, creating a creative cashmere art space, and bringing an unprecedented high-end cashmere interactive experience to the audience.

After 90 days, thousands of visitors used the raw cashmere material on site to create their own patterns and paintings on top of the base, which were eventually felted by Sandriver's special felting process to present seven cashmere felt paintings. Each participant gave the work more humanistic feelings and unique soul through the temperature of their own hands.

On January 9, Sandriver opened the exhibition of the audience's heart-stirring works, and many of those who had participated in it made a special trip to the site to find out more. Some viewers were even moved by the culture and spirit of it and bought the paintings they had participated in creating to take home and treasure.

The cashmere blanket on the wall has also been auctioned off in the annual charity auction held at UCCA in November 2021, and after experiencing the Maison & Objet exhibition in Paris and the Ontime Show exhibition at Shanghai Fashion Week, it was finally dedicated to art education in China.

Using the most precious cashmere material to restore the ancient skills from the Mongolian people, allowing all participants to have a personal experience and experience, is a personal transmission and guardian of the traditional craftsmanship of the China.

For Sandriver, Inner Mongolia is the birthplace of inspiration, cashmere is a gift from nature, and the craft of felting carries the nomadic culture of the Mongolian people for thousands of years. The nature of felt is the reverence and protection of a people for nature, which in modern language is the embodiment of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Felt is a strong combination of traditional Chinese craftsmanship and environmental protection, but also the embodiment of the inseparable relationship between art and fashion.
